My wife is a heavy Outlook user.  One of the problems I have is that we have a busy and complicate personal schedule around the kids.   Who is doing what changes a lot.  I also have a busy work schedule.  Sometimes those personal “kid’s dentist appointment” items clutter up my work calendar.

Microsoft Outlook is quite versatile.   It handles multiple email accounts.   It is a reader for RSS subscriptions.   It can be integrated with your Twitter feeds via a free product called Twinbox.   You can also integrate your Facebook, LinkedIn, and Windows Live social media streams and address books into Outlook.

If you are like me,  you have multiple email accounts.   Microsoft Outlook can easily integrate multiple email accounts into your Outlook.   You can combine these into separate mailboxes or merge them together into one mailbox.   Here’s an article from Microsoft on how to do this:  https://tiny.
